When learning to drive, you can't beat practical experience on as many different roads as possible and plenty of practice on the manoeuvres. In order to help you gain confidence and speed up success the Learners Guide has provided lesson plans. These can be viewed in advance of you needing to carry out in practice, which should save you time on lessons and therefore money!

The theory test is made up of a multiple choice part and a hazard perception part. You can start preparing for the tests as soon as you like and take the test any time after your 17th birthday. Books such as the Highway Code and the Driving Manual will help you prepare for the multiple choice part and there are CD's available to practice the hazard perception part.
