About us:

Qualified as a DSA ADI (Driving Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructor) in 2004, Steve Parks initially worked as a franchisee with the AA Driving School. In 2007, based locally in Market Harborough, he decided to branch out and ‘go it alone’ due to receiving virtually all clients via previous customer referrals.

Previously Steve worked for an Automotive Supplier in Corby, near Market Harborough, as Quality Manager where he was responsible for all aspects of quality including liaising with customers and suppliers and training of the workforce to the required standards.

Learning to drive is an exciting time and Steve tries to make the experience both enjoyable and very much a two-way process. The training requirements are decided from the outset, whether that is a full course for a new driver (which may include theory test coaching if required), through to post test tuition such as the DSA recognised Pass Plus initiative. This gives clients further experience once their initial test is passed especially on Motorways amongst other situations. These requirements are continually assessed and training adjusted as required.

Driving lessons are flexible and can be booked on all days of the week (subject to availability) and are usually 1, 1 ½ or 2 hours (2 hour lessons give the best value in terms of reduced learning hours). Longer driving lessons can be undertaken, if required, for example travelling further a field on the motorway. Pick up and drop off locations are also as required by the client, which could be from their school, home or workplace.

Currently the tuition car is an air conditioned new Peugeot 308 and is replaced on a regular basis. This is an excellent, small (but not too small!) car, which is gives a refined drive and is easy to manoeuvre.
