About Wendy:

Wendy Howes is a fully qualified Driving Standards Agency (DSA) Approved instructor based near Hexham. As well as being a qualified driving instructor Wendy is a British horse society registered riding instructor, both requiring a calm patient approach. If you would like to be taught to drive to a high standard, learning the correct way from start to test and possibly beyond test in taking a pass plus course, then Wendy Howes will be happy to take your call. Refresher courses are available for those who haven’t driven for a while and would like to build confidence on the roads.

Pass Plus courses

The Pass plus scheme is mainly aimed at new drivers to help them become better drivers. It is designed to help gain experience in more challenging driving conditions, including on Motorways where provisional holders are not allowed. Consider this when you’ve passed as you can often get a big discount on your car insurance and no test is required.
